Advanced Content Tools

Pages in Zenario are called "content items". Different status are supported:

• Draft items are for only for administrators to see
• Published items are visible to regular site visitors, and are in the menu navigation, XML sitemap and on-site search
• Published (unlisted) items are visible to visitors but not in navigation, XML sitemap or search, so a visitor must know the precise URL
• Hidden items are again only for administrators to see.

Pages can be published at specific times.

For example, you can prepare a press release, and schedule it to go live at a specific time.

The counterpart to scheduled publishing, a page can be given a scheduled removal date.

This is helpful if items are know to have a limited validity time, after which they will be automatically removed from the site.

Typically such pages are de-listed, so that they are removed from main site navigation, but remain on the site as an unlisted page, so as to avoid 404 errors.

Draft pages can normally only be viewed by Zenario administrators.

With staging mode, you can generate a link that you can send to a non-administrator colleague, so that they can view the new or revised page without needing a password.
